Where are you from? A question I love to answer!

I was born in the Central Okanagan. I went to school at the University of British Columbia. I began my professional training on the Canadian Prairies. I learned to police in the rich culture of the City of Richmond, B.C. I fell in love on ski hills in B.C. and Washington. My family have roots in B.C., on the Coast, in Arizona, in Switzerland, the UK, and California. My babies were born in the Okanagan and the mountains of Whistler. I learned our Canadian story living and sailing in the Great Bear Rainforest home of the Heiltsuk, the Oweekeno, and the Kitasoo. I found out what I was made of sailing to Baja, Mexico. I served a rich four years as the Officer in Charge of Canada’s largest RCMP Detachment when I retired in Kelowna, B.C. Today I live, play and work in the North Okanagan, home of the Sy’lix Okanagan People.
